The Fit For Work™ Free app is a personal safety self-check and awareness tool designed for individual workers to quickly assess whether they are ready to work before or during a shift. It is not a medical device, not a diagnostic system, and not a monitoring or compliance enforcement tool. Its purpose is to support awareness and early decision-making in everyday work situations.
The free version focuses on basic fit-for-work awareness. It allows individuals to reflect on fatigue, alertness, hydration, general wellbeing, and environmental conditions such as heat, cold, or weather. Users may choose to add personal notes for their own reference. The app is designed to be quick and practical, taking only a short pause to complete.
On real job sites, the free app helps workers stop for a moment and consider whether they are alert, focused, and safe to continue working. It supports better personal judgement by encouraging early recognition of fatigue, heat stress, reduced concentration, or illness. The app does not replace experience or common sense and does not direct how work must be performed.
Privacy is central to the free version. The app does not require real names, government identification, medical records, or continuous location tracking. Any information entered is voluntary and remains under the user’s control.
